Maghull Air Cadets are celebrating their victory at the recent Field Training Day Competition. The Cadets and Staff worked tirelessly for months before the competition and their hard work paid off. The competition is a showcase of what the cadets train for all year. It encompasses first aid, drill, projects, models, full bore shooting, archery and flight simulation. Maghull Squadron has always performed well at the Field Training Day but this year was a particular delight for the cadets and staff.

2348 (Maghull) Sqn ATC achieved 1st place in Banner and Drill, 1st for best female in Merseyside Wing (Sergeant Hernandez), best male cadet in sport (Cadet Warrant Officer Murphy) 2nd place for Full Bore Shoot, 1st in Uniform Inspection and the overall winners of the day!

Flight Lieutenant Ian Taylor, Commanding Officer of Maghull Squadron., said: “This really does show how committed our cadets and staff are at 2348. I am immensely proud of their achievements.”
