The camp covers 250 hectares (620 acres) of beaches, sand dunes, fields and small woods.\n\nThe camp has a capacity of 708 beds including VIP accommodation.\n<h2>Altcar Training Camp Annual Bidding Conference<\/h2>\nAltcar Training Camp holds a bidding conference for the following year&#8217;s accommodation and range&nbsp;allocations annually. This is held&nbsp;in October of&nbsp;each year.\n\nAll units wanting their accommodation and range bids to be considered for the following year must&nbsp;have their completed JSP 907 forms to the Camp HQ no later than the 31 Aug. JSP 907 forms received&nbsp;after 31 Aug will be addressed after the conference and this may result in limited availability.\n<h2>The Red Rose<\/h2>\nThe Red Rose is situated in the Main Camp to the rear of the&nbsp;Sefton Mess and is open to all visiting&nbsp;units. The Red Rose is run by Aramark and comprises a bar and shop\/caf\u00e9. The bar is open Monday &#8211; Sunday, 1900hrs to 2230hrs (2300hrs Friday &amp; Saturday). The shop\/caf\u00e9 is open Monday &#8211; Sunday 0800hrs to 1000hrs (closed Friday AM), and Monday &#8211; Sunday 1800hrs to 2200hrs.\n\nAnyone under the age of 18 will not be served with or consume alcohol on the premises. The club&nbsp;consists of three separate areas, ideal for Other Ranks, SNCOs and Officers.\n\n* All Cadets are to be supervised by adult instructors at all times. Under no circumstances are cadets to&nbsp;socialise with personnel of Adult Units. Cadets must vacate the premises no later than 2200hrs.\n\nPlease note that opening times may vary dependant on range and camp use. If you require the club&nbsp;open on Friday morning or Sunday evening, notification is needed.\n\nThe Aramark Retail Manager can be contacted on 07824 551633\n\nPlease be aware that the sole selling rights for food and drink on Altcar Training Camp are with the Red Rose Manager. This being the case Units are advised not to bring such items with a view to selling them on Camp.
