The CO, RSM, and members of A Company 4 LANCS paraded at Peninsula Barracks in Warrington for the first time since The King’s and Cheshire Regt departed in 2005. To mark this occasion Madam Deputy Mayor of Warrington, Councillor Maureen Creaghan, visited the barracks and welcomed the Infantry back to Warrington. Her son had been in 4 KORBR (antecedent) and she was genuinely delighted.
NW RFCA have recently invested heavily in repair and refurbishment work at the barracks affording 4 LANCS this opportunity. We are very grateful to both 75 Engr Regt and HQ NW RFCA for their direct assistance and support to our move in.
