It’s been an exciting start to the New Year for Lancashire ACF.
Major Tony Armstrong – Cadet Executive Officer at Lancashire ACF received from the GOC Regional Command (Major General David Eastman MBE) the General Officer Commanding Home Command (3*) Commendation for his outstanding work for the ACF.

On receiving the award, Tony said: “I am very humbled to receive this award and am proud to have played a key part in delivering some amazing opportunities for the young people that are members of Lancashire ACF. Also, I would like to thank all the Permanent Staff at Lancs ACF that have helped deliver this varied and challenging programme over the last 5 years”. Congratulations Tony!
Lancashire ACF would also like to congratulate our Deputy Commandant Joanne Eccles on her MBE award that was announced in the New Years honours list.

Joanne said “It is all a little surreal at the moment however it is a great privilege and honour to be recognised within the New Years honours. This would not have been possible without the amazing team I have around me in Lancashire ACF. They help me push the boundaries to provide our cadets with an amazing experience.
My current role in Lancashire is Deputy Commandant in charge of cadets and cadet training. My aim is to provide the cadets with opportunities that they would not normally have and enhance their CV with recognised qualifications and experiences for future employment.”
