Alternative Venues North West and the Manchester International Festival

Alternative Venues North West are honoured to be part of the International Music Festival taking place this month. The biennial art festival brings together cultural events such as music, arts, theatre and dance to the city. As part of the rehearsals for the performances, Belle Vue ARC and Langdon House in Manchester have been utilised.  The performers at Belle Vue ARC were rehearsing a performance called Alphabus, whilst the performance being rehearsed at Langdon House was the Nico project (starring Maxine Peake).

Captain Hanson from Belle Vue ARC, commented: It was fantastic for the venue to be used in a different format and to see a sneak preview of the performances before the festival starts. We are fully supportive of Alternative Venues and are currently hosting rehearsals for the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company ahead of their national tour.
